An iron entry door with glass gives you the look of a custom front door and the strength of steel in one piece. The steel frame carries the glass, the pattern sits over it, and the light still comes through. Every one we build is made to measure for the opening at your house.
Styles from doors we have built
- Geometric sidelights on both sides of a bronze entry door, like the one pictured under a steel porch cover.
- Arched tops with a fan transom, built to follow the curve of the opening.
- Scrollwork over textured glass, with a matching sidelight.
- Linked circles and other clean, modern patterns.
- Double doors for wide entries, with curved and straight bars.

Light, privacy and the Tucson sun
Clear glass shows off the room behind the door. Textured glass blurs the view from the street and still lets the light in, so it turns up in a lot of our sidelights. Entries that face south or west take the full afternoon sun, and the finish gets settled early: a bronze tone or satin black both suit tan stucco.
Built to the opening
Plenty of Tucson entries are not a stock size, and arched ones never are. Daniel measures the opening, the sidelights and any transom on the site visit, and the frame is welded to those numbers so the door hangs square and closes tight. Doors are prepped for the lock you want, including keypad deadbolts like the ones in our photos.
Glass door or security door?
A glass entry door replaces your front door. A security door goes in front of the door you already have, so you can open it to the breeze. Some houses get one of each, and we build both. If you are not sure which one suits your entry, send a photo and ask.
Questions about glass doors
Can a glass door have sidelights or a transom?
Yes. Our photos include doors with a sidelight on one or both sides, and an arched door with a fan transom above it.
Can I pick the pattern?
Yes. Start from one of ours or bring a picture of a door you like, and Daniel will sketch it to fit your opening.
Getting a glass door quote
Call or text (520) 345-4241 with a photo of the entry and a rough width and height. Tell us if you have a style in mind, from our photos or anywhere else. Daniel will set a time to measure and bid the job.
