Oro Valley sits on the northwest side of the Santa Catalina Mountains, under Pusch Ridge and along Oracle Road. From our shop on East 36th Street in Tucson it is about half an hour north, and we make the drive for measuring, bidding and installs.
What we build in Oro Valley
Most Oro Valley homes are stucco with tile or flat roofs, many inside planned neighborhoods like Rancho Vistoso and Stone Canyon. The work that fits them: custom security doors in patterns that suit the HOA, iron and glass entry doors, courtyard gates and walk gates for side yards, patio covers and pergolas for the back of the house, and balcony railings on view lots that look out toward the ridge. Steel fences and rolling gates are part of the list too.
HOA rules and design review
Plenty of Oro Valley communities review changes to the outside of a house. A security door, a new gate or a patio cover may need approval on color and style before it goes up. Bring your HOA guidelines to the first visit. Daniel can sketch the door or gate to those rules and give you the details the committee asks for.
Sun, wildlife and the ridge
The town backs up to Catalina State Park and open desert, so wildlife is part of daily life. Gates that close tight and fences without gaps keep pets in and javelina out. The afternoon sun is strong on west-facing entries, which is where a security door with a good finish earns its keep, letting you open the main door to the evening air off the mountains.
Questions from Oro Valley homeowners
Will a security door suit tile and stucco?
A bronze tone and satin black both sit well against tan stucco and tile roofs. The door sketcher on our home page lets you compare patterns before the visit.
Do you come up from Tucson for smaller jobs?
Oro Valley is about half an hour from our shop, and it is part of our service area along with Marana and the Catalina Foothills. Call and describe the job.
